Random blackscreens (...); How to disassemle Monitor

Hey, I have a BenQ RL2450HT Monitor (Manufactured Oct 2012). It recently started acting up. The symptoms come randomly and usually go away after unplugging it form power for a short while and then plugging it back in. The symptoms include:

Short blackscreens
Permanent blackscreens unil I power cycle (power LED stays green)
Unresponsive buttons (including power)
OSD Displaying (with unresponsive buttons)
(once) the screen turned all white

As it is now 11-12 years old, I am suspecting that some capacitors have gone bad and would like to look at them/replace them. However, I cannot figure out how to open this specific monitor. For most monitors it is easy to spot the line where the plastic clips hide, but I am unable here.

I Suspect that the clips hide somewhere around the green or orange lines (next image). However, I cannot fit anything in there.

Does anyone have experience with disassembling such a monitor/can give me any hints? (Also tell me if you think the issue aren't the capacitors)

I’m very curious as to if you found out how to fix it, since I have the spoken “no-power” problem

I originally found out that it was a lose ribbon cable to the screen, but now nothing comes through

Unfortunately, I did not find a solution. I replaced some capacitors, but the problem persisted. Maybe other Caps are broken, or completely different parts. As I do not have hardware and knowledge to do proper measurements (I'd assume that a oscilloscope may be helpful, or a thermal camera) I ultimately gave up and went for a new monitor setup.

The capacitors are worth checking as is the power board in general (stressed or overheated components etc).

To open the monitor here's a video that may help. I realize that it isn't the same model but the opening procedure is very much the same.

As to what to use to pry it apart, guitar picks or even out of date credit cards can be used to pry it open or you can always get a set of pry tools from ifixit.

Try not to use metal tools, screwdrivers etc, so as to minimize any cosmetic damage to the monitor case

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. I have tried using the ifixit opening picks and opening tool already, but I cannot find an approrpriate gap for them. The ones marked in green and orange in the third picture are too narrow (they seem glued/joint somehow).

I assume that you already removed any screws on the back cover including the stand?

I have a BENQ (different model) and found that I could force a pry tool into the seam but not right on the corner perhaps some 50mm further along, then once open I placed a credit card in there to keep it open and just kept prying along the seam, sometimes I had to add another card to stop it from closing but eventually it all opened.

Yes, I had all screws removed (put them back in as I am still using it).

I tried inserting a tool at various spots, but at none of them anything moved.

With other monitors I was able to easily find the correct gap by using my fingernails (and then tools to disassemble), but here I have no clue :S

I also tried heating the marked area (image 3) farther away from the esge with the iOpener a bit, hoping that something may become looser, but it did not help

Update: I think I found the gap by starting at the buttons. It's the orange line which is hidden by that rounded edge (towards the green line).
