Background and Identification
The JBL Charge 3 was released in 2016. It is the fourth speaker in the JBL Charge line. It is distinguishable from the previous Charge speakers because of its new woven waterproof cover. While it features almost the same design as the JBL Charge 4, the Charge 3 uses a micro-usb for power input where the Charge 4 now uses usb-c.
It features Bluetooth and auxiliary connectivity and a 6000mAh battery that provides up to 20 hours of entertainment and can charge other devices with its built-in USB port. With its IPX7 waterproofing, the Charge 3 can be used in almost any condition, rain or shine. The Charge 3 has also been integrated with JBL Connect, a feature that allows you play music across multiple JBL speakers simultaneously.
